The program was in a better mood than he was last night. He sat on the couch, nibbling at the small hershey’s bar that Thomas was kind enough to give him. The…

By now her expression had turned from slightly puzzled to pretty concerned. Her eyes narrowed and her mouth turned to a disatisfied frown.

“Which new user are you talking about Ram? I haven’t seen anything of him.”

“He arrived a few cycles ago…goes by the name of Dillinger, that is to say Dillinger Senior, not to be confused with his son, his son is cool. But in all seriousness that guy seems like bad news…I have reason to believe he was Sark’s user.”

He folded his arms, grimacing at the mention of that name. Those were bad times.

“ever since he came to the grid bugs have been poppin up everywhere, programs have been disappearing, hell, we have reason to believe he attacked Flynn indirectly.”

“I never liked any of those Dillingers,”
Her eyebrows narrowed as she clenched her teeth. They truly did irk her, it seemed like whenever they were around, trouble was never far behind. She knew the bigger one was definitely dangerous, and although the smaller Dillinger hadn’t done anything yet she was still very suspicious of him.
“I could never trust either of them, and I’d say there’s no more probable cause of these gridbugs then those two. Both seem very strange and suspicious, I just know they’re planning something.”
Yori figured it was the glasses that made them seem so shady. No one needs glasses that big, she thought to herself, they must be hiding something behind them. Yes, that was it.

“I think Junior is innocent in all this…I’d like to think myself a good judge of character and I don’t believe he’s involved at all…the elder one though I have reason to suspect given his animosity towards Flynn.” He furrowed his brow, rubbing his chin. “But why he would go so far as to try to murder him I do not know…I don’t like it though. We have to be alert…fortunately Clu has turned around and is on our side now, I never thought I’d see the day where he was fighting for the sake of the Users again. It’s a welcome change.”

“Err, yes. Clu. It is good that he’s back on our side, even if i do have issues trusting him fully. But we have to protect Flynn, you’re right, and especially with this new threat on the grid we’ll need all the help we can get.”
She let out a small half cough half chuckle. As she rubbed her temples, she looked up at him and grinned weakly,
“You’ll have to excuse my paranoia Ram. It’s all a bit weird and overwhelming having so many things change in what feels like just a few microcycles. They strange extended sleepy trance I seemed to have fallen into really put me out of sorts.”

“Oh no, I understand fully Yori.” he waved his hands in front of him. “Lot’s happened in a short amount of time” he scratched behind his head. “But perhaps to be safe I should run a check on your systems, make sure they’re bug free given what’s happened around here.” He held out his hand, wanting her disc. “Don’t worry it’s painless, and it only takes a few seconds.”

She grabbed her disk from her back, handing it over to Ram. As she placed the disk into his outstretched hands, she sneezed into her arm. She wrinkled her nose and blinked quickly as she reached up to rub her eyes.
“I might just still be adjusting to being awake again Ram,” she half laughed half sneezed, “I must have been asleep for a long while, I might just not be used to moving about.”
She sneezed again, and turned to Ram with an unusally confused expression, even for her.
“Hey, is it dusty in here? Because my nose feels kinda tickly.”

He took the disc and sat down, checking thuroughly for any errors or bugs. His attention was pulled away suddenly when Yori started sneezing. That wasn’t good, if it was a bug it would be minor at least…hopefully. His brow furrowed and he scanned through the code at a faster pace.

“Usually programs don’t sneeze unless they have a virus or bug…”

She laughed weakly,

“It’s just really dusty in here Ram. You should…dust or something.”

As she wiped her nose on her sleeve she looked up and smiled at him as he scanned her disk carefully,

“I’m pretty sure I’m fine Ram. Don’t worry about me.”

The program was in a better mood than he was last night. He sat on the couch, nibbling at the small hershey’s bar that Thomas was kind enough to give him. The sugar was doing wonders on his system.

Yori poked her head into the room where Ram was sitting. Something seemed different about him, although she couldn’t quite put her finger on what it was.

“Hello there Ram,” she grinned and waved at him, “How have you been?”
